Julia Harding became a Master of Wine in 2004 and has worked closely with Jancis Robinson since 2005, including as co-editor on The Oxford Companion to Wine, a reference book intended to cover every aspect of its subject. For episode 130 of The Drinking Hour, Julia joins host David Kermode to talk about her role as lead editor of the fifth edition of the book, which has just been released. The conversation looks at what’s new for the latest version, including new contributors, first appearances for certain countries, more extensive coverage of North American wine and a greater focus on sustainability in the wine industry.
