The Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the Year 2024 shortlist has been revealed, offering novel insights and angles on the people, places and produce in vineyards and wineries across the globe. Showcasing the effort that goes into wine production from unexpected and often breathtaking perspectives, this year’s entries span everywhere from the Trentino Alto Adige region in Northern Italy to the Western Cape of South Africa.
The images communicate the passion and vitality within the wine industry, as well as some of the emotional moments that occur, from the energetic movement of a vineyard worker throwing his bounty aloft, captured in vivid motion by Suzanne Becker Bronk, to the triumphant emergence of Farrell Oxley from a tank during pressing in Australia, shot by British photographer Chris Elfes.
The shortlist also includes striking vignettes from the vineyards of the world, including a superb shot of a night harvest in Israel, a misty morning in the Alexander Valley and the meeting of vines and city life in Bolzano, Italy.
