Award-winning master blender Ian Chang joins host David Kermode to discuss his new project at Komoro in Japan. Having spent more than 15 years at Kavalan in Taiwan, Ian discusses the motivation behind his move and what he hopes to achieve with the whiskies to be produced at the new distillery.
The conversation touches on Ian’s education in England and his journey to becoming a master blender, plus the huge impact Dr Jim Swan had on his life and approach to whisky-making.
