A classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc from Lidl’s core range, from the cooler Awatere Valley, the nose bursting with aromas of gooseberry, lime zest and freshly cut grass, the palate offering blackcurrant leaf, a hint of green pepper and a blast of white citrus. Well balanced, with plenty of focus, there’s a hint of flint on the finish. Exhibiting serious typicity, a well made wine to pair with griddled prawns and aioli.
