Featuring in the Society’s exciting Italian fine wine promotion that kicked off towards the end of April, an excellent example of Timorasso, a white grape from Piedmont that’s still relatively hard to find. The nose offers Rose’s lime marmalade, white grapefruit and blanched almonds, while the palate has waxy texture with bags of juicy citrus and nectarine intensity. A gastronomic wine, rather than a summer sipper, perfect for a saffron risotto.
