This was the best of the Champagnes on show at the Morrisons autumn/winter tasting in 2025, led by Pinot Noir at 70%, complemented by 18% Meunier, the remainder Chardonnay, with a nose of red apple and buttered brioche, a relatively refined mousse, plenty of juicy orchard fruit on the mid-palate, balanced by vibrant citrus and a toasty, faintly nutty finish. Pair this with oysters.
