From the cool climate of South Africa’s Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, a project from South African wine icon Marc Kent, of ‘The Chocolate Block’ fame, overseen by  talented winemaker Gottfried Mocke. With an appealing, fresh nose of orchard fruits and lemon verbena, the maritime influence is evident in the lovely salinity that trickles through it like a mountain stream. A serene wine with subtle use of oak, pair with a chicken and mushroom pie.
