Tomintoul distillery, founded in the 1960s, has built a reputation as a highly sought-after producer of malt for blends, and it’s rare to see as a single malt. This release is intensely fruity with an excellent complexity. Spiced stem and sweet crystalised ginger abound on the palate, with a supporting cast of brown sugar, orange blossom, rich dark chocolate and luxurious vanilla notes.
