Own-brand Albariño can sometimes be disappointing these days, such is the level of demand, but this is an excellent example from a respected producer, Muriel. It has an alluring saline nose that also tempts with ripe grapefruit and hints of peach. There’s some good weight to the mid plate with plump stone fruits kept in check by a vibrant, juicy acid line.
