Pancake and maple syrup on the nose, big wood aged aromas and taste. You can taste the barrels. Reminiscent of cedar wood and mahogany. Bit of leather and saddle oil. Surprisingly dry and firm on the palate with a bit of Latakia tobacco at the end building a long and powerful finish.
