Cool dark fruit nose with fresh washed linen. Palate incredibly creamy and delicate with plum, blueberry and a lighter, sweeter, redder fruit note. The mid palate is there but you have to concentrate to see it, and the tannins kick in a tad early – there’s a feeling of unbalance between tannin, fruit and alcohol and at 14.5 you feel the alcohol. It’s still a young wine though.
