Wow, what a nose, sensual and animal, all skin and bone with a top layer of crushed blackcurrant skin, mineral, wood shavings and pencil case. The palate is spiced, hoof oil, wonderful freshness to this despite the very evolved tannins – the finish is spiced and juicy. Quite evolved but still fascinating.
