A truly outstanding Imperial Reserva, its minority shareholders (Graciano, Mazuelo and Garnacha) adding smoky complexity to a mosaic of fruit and perfectly judged tannin. The colour is still deep and confident, child of a great vintage; the fruit profile follows suit, brambly and generous, then savoury notes and a gilded finish. Delightful.
