A classic Bordeaux blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Fine old leather on the nose and deep red fruit, complex and savoury, promising much on the palate. With sappy, fresh, green-stick tannins, the style is more New World than Old, but the flavour profile is savoury and precise, with lots of cassis and fine black fruit, excellent acidity and a lingering finish. Very fine.
