Red wine
Ata Rangi, Pinot Noir 2011
RRP £ 54.99
Frost and poor flowering early in the season meant a lower-than-usual crop. Another smoky, savoury, red fruit nose – a bit like a clafoutis. Svelte palate with great balance and purity and a fine tannin line too. Supple and friendly with that little note of characteristic bitterness on the finish.
