A D Rattray, Miltonduff 1983 34 Year Old

RRP £306.25

Miltonduff is a rarely-seen Speyside malt. Owned by Pernod Ricard it is used to give the fine top notes to the delicate Balantine’s blend. Old Miltonduff can only be found as independent bottles, and this one is a great example. With aromas of banana and touches of dry tobacco leaves, the palate is dense. Flavours of shortbread and caramel mix with fruity fresh orange and marmalade flavours, which turn to orange peel and dry oak on the finish.
