Martin Miller’s was one of the pioneers of the modern gin craze, garnering significant commercial success and acting as an inspiration to many. The distillery ships this gin to Iceland to cut it with the local water, and aged this version for nine months in oak barrels. Fresh grapefruit, kumquats, tropical fruit and sherbet define a bright palate which continues with sweet spices combined with rich oak. Complex and well composed, with finesse and elegance and juniper and black peppercorns on the finish. Best enjoyed neat but it works with many tonic waters.
