Domaine des Comtes Lafon 2010

RRP N/A in UK

This is a good example of a Meursault village wine that more than fulfills expectations. It’s well honed, juicy, compact and surprisingly dense but fully contained. There’s good energy and layering throughout, with ripe fruit but no lack of freshness underscoring the palate and sustained finish. It took a little time to open up, so decant it or wait, but it’s an impressive wine with potential to age further.
