Bottle of Taittinger 2008
Champagne

Taittinger, Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs 2008

RRP £145

The nose is radiantly fruity with gorgeous gunpowdery and ground coffee toastiness lingering on top of zingy lemon, peach and grass notes. Refined and for initially restrained, there is sumptuous yeast-derived complexity on the palate. The creamy mouthfeel further amplifies its luxurious feel. Instantly charming, as Comtes always is, but nevertheless a keeper vintage.
