Strong lifted nose with force and strength without water but it opens up brilliantly showing a great deal of dark sherry and spicy wood. Charming but firm, sweet start with plenty of raisin and prune like elements supported by a savoury backbone. Proper ‘sherry bomb’ from the highest order with everlasting wood spices and sweet nuts on the finish.
