William moved to London for a writing career in 2008 and began with editorial roles at a finance company and a B2B website publisher. He then spent a decade in automotive journalism at Dennis Publishing, working as a Content Editor and then Sub Editor on the motoring titles Auto Express and Carbuyer. During this period, he was a regular contributor to a food and drink website in his spare time, writing reviews, interviews and travel pieces.

William joined the Club Oenologique editorial team in April 2023 as Digital Editor, where he works on the Club O website. He is responsible for writing, commissioning, editing and managing content for the site.
