Pedro Ballesteros Torres is a Master of Wine, as well as holding an Agrofood Engineer degree and a masters in Viticulture & Oenology. He is a columnist for several magazines in Spain and Belgium, writing regularly for magazines in the UK, USA, Japan and Italy. He is the author of Comprender el Vino, a book about Spanish wine, and wrote the Spain chapters in the New Sotheby’s Wine Encyclopaedia, as well as contributing to five other wine books. Pedro also acts as an advisor to the Basque Culinary Center, MIBA (China), and other institutions, has been commended to the Spanish Order of Agricultural Merit, the Gran Orden de Caballeros del Vino and acts as an Italian Wine Ambassador and Ambassador for VDP (Germany). He works in Spanish, English, French and Italian.
