As daylight fades, Italy’s streets spring to life. Photographer Francesco Lastrucci shares snapshots of sundown drinks as the aperitivo hour takes hold in Florence
Laura Richards started out in journalism at pregnancy and parenting publication Prima Baby, before a drastic change of direction and pace, documenting the bar, club and restaurant scene in London – first at the now-defunct website View London, then at Time Out London. She began her journey at the going out guide as a Digital Content Producer, before taking on the role of Drink Editor and eventually becoming Digital Director.
In 2017, Laura published her first book, ‘111 London Pubs & Bars that you Shouldn’t Miss’ – which is now in its third edition.
Laura took the next step in her drink journey in 2021, joining the Club Oenologique editorial team and studying to complete her WSET Level 3 in Wine. She became Editorial Director at Club O at the start of 2023, where she now oversees content for the website, social, print and podcast.
