Produced by the Society’s long-standing Champagne supplier, Alfred Gratien, from the somewhat patchy ‘16 vintage, a blend of majority Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Noir and 17% Meunier that genuinely overdelivers, from the gentle pithy citrus nose to the broad mid-palate of orchard fruit and creamy nutty undertow. Good value for an elegant and substantial vintage cuvée.
