The buildings that once housed Caperdonich are now home to the family-run business Forsyths, the largest supplier of copper pot stills in Scotland. The remaining stocks have been released by the distillery’s last owner, Chivas Brothers, and the quality is outstanding. Rich honey on the nose, with wafts of bananas and lavender. The palate is full of honeycomb, milk chocolate and ginger cake, with a soft and subtle finish.
