I have grown weary of dreary, uninspiring supermarket Pinot Grigio, so what a pleasant surprise to discover this example that reminds us why we fell in love with the variety. With its pithy citrus nose, graceful restraint and satisfying cool  freshness, there’s just the right balance of acidity and fruit concentration to make this a perfect sipper to accompany a summer salad of halloumi and avocado.
