The fruit comes from Adelaide Hills, Tumbarumba and Tasmania. Eight months in French oak. Very fine creamy nose with some green briary notes, citrus and grapefruit. More grapefruit on the palate, this is delicious, mouthfilling, very juicy with this fine acid wash throughout – a watercolour compared to the big fat Chards of old – and lovely exotic spice, leading to a lingering finish. Excellent.
