Leckford Estate in Hampshire’s Test Valley is owned by Waitrose for the benefit of its partners and the production of its own produce. With vinification overseen by English sparkling pioneer Simon Roberts, of Ridgeview fame, this non-vintage cuvée has a base of 2015 Chardonnay, offering a lovely orchard fruit nose with toasty brioche notes, while the palate offers russet apple, creamy peach melba and toasted hazelnuts.
