Produced in the Puglia region of southern Italy, from the indigenous red grape variety Nero di Troia, this red was a surprise. Red-fruit driven on the nose with a whisper of floral overtones, in a simple but come-drink-me style. Dried fruit and spice decorate a velvet palate, with a perfectly balanced tannin grip and lifted fresh acidity. Something fun, great value and deliciously different.
