A fixture in Lidl’s core range, a classic, very accessible Right Bank Bordeaux, led by Merlot, with a charming, perfumed nose of violets, foraged blackberries and damson jelly. The wine offers decent concentration and is well balanced, with juicy redcurrant acidity and nicely integrated oak. A plush red to enjoy by the fire with some roasted chestnuts.
