Classic Right Bank Bordeaux, 95% Merlot, the remainder Cabernet Franc, an accomplished St Emilion from Jules Lebegues, offering foraged blackberry, black cherry and plum crumble on the nose, with the sweet spice and cedar playing a lovely supporting role to the ripe juicy fruit. Pleasingly plush, with a bit of grip to the tannins, a good value option for the Sunday roast.
