The south-facing hillside vineyards of Rasteau produce powerfully full-bodied reds that can sometimes overwhelm the unwary drinker. Alain Jaume’s expression, however, is restrained and composed. Supple, juicy and very fresh, this highly gluggable red allows the ripe, spiced bramble fruit of the Southern Rhône to really shine.
