This low-yielding block in Las Violetas, located on soils with a high percentage of calcium carbonate, produces Uruguay’s best Merlot. Aged in new French oak, the result is wonderfully polished and refined, showing flavours of cassis and red plum, some coffee bean notes, fine tannins and a long, refreshing finish.
