Rich and indulgent, this opens with a burst of stewed summer fruits, redberries and liquorice; some chocolate ganache. Warming spices of nutmeg and cardamom weave through, adding complexity alongside a delicate suggestion of ripe fig. On the palate, the chocolate deepens, mingling with sweet dates and some manuka honey. A hint of old oak, and some notes of blueberry. Orange zest and cloves are in the finish.
