William moved to London for a writing career in 2008. He spent almost a decade in automotive journalism at Dennis Publishing, working as a content editor and then sub editor on the motoring titles Auto Express and Carbuyer. During this period, he was also a regular contributor to a food and drink website, writing reviews, interviews and travel pieces.

William joined the Club Oenologique editorial team in April 2023 as digital editor. He is responsible for writing, commissioning, editing and managing content for the site.
