A reworking of Frapin’s excellent Multimillésime series, this brand-new expression blends Cognacs from the 1986, 1988 and 1990 vintages. It’s classic Frapin – full of tension, perfume and vibrancy, with warm citrus notes and a little tropical/candied fruit, and hedgerow florals in the background. There’s some clear honey, then more of that perfumed fruit, accompanied by an edge of bitterness and just a twist of white pepper. A relatively punchy Frapin but with plenty of elegance.
