The grape variety Jaen will be known to few but this is a great example of unique Portuguese indigenous styles at their best. Fruit forward on the nose, inviting and berry-driven in style. Vibrant and expressive on the palate with a vivid juiciness. Ripe and round finish with simple red flavours dancing in the mouth. Interestingly, this red was presented chilled at the tasting, which suited it.
