As the sixth series of The Drinking Hour podcast comes to a close, host David Kermode takes a look back on some of the series’ most memorable moments. In the world of wine, Kermode revisits conversations with the Irish winemaker creating a buzz on the English wine scene, Dermot Sugrue, with a leader on a new sustainability project in Provence, Jessica Julmy of Château Galoupet, and with The Wine Society‘s Sarah Knowles MW, talking all things Italian wine.

Moving on to spirits, Kermode tackles the meteoric rise of gin with Olivier Ward, gin expert on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, and learns about the history-making career of former head bartender at The Savoy’s American Bar, Shannon Tebay.
