The fruit on the renowned white counterpart to Grange comes from Tasmania, Tumbarumba and Adelaide Hills.

That excellent nose – full, fresh, unmistakable heft of citrus fruit. Classy on the palate, rather restrained compared to many vintages, tongue-tingling acidity and spice, pearskin and honeysuckle, and great dry, tannic length. Gago says, “We’re really pleased with it this year”. Yattarna always has restraint on the palate but this seems tightly-wound, ready to release power as it matures. One of the best Yattarnas I’ve had. I just wish I could afford it.
