A great value, Italian tank-method sparkler that’s more than a match for most supermarket Prosecco, courtesy of a much more interesting grape variety, Ribolla Gialla, from Friuli, on the border with Austria. The nose offers lashings of lemon, there’s a gentle frothy mousse and a subtle nutty character, while the alcohol feels naturally low at 10.5%. The perfect summer party starter, I also love the label.
