This 100% Carricante has a lovely fresh nose, all citrus and lemongrass with floral overtones – really beguiling. On the palate the acidity is delicate rather than racy but it’s very present, and that wonderful citrusy fruit is augmented by exotic notes of nectarine and a textured salinity. The finish is dry, delicate and fresh. A brilliant take on Chablis.
