Though it’s hard to find affordable Burgundy these days, Pouilly-Fuissé still offers a taste of what makes the region special and this village-level wine is good value, showcasing the minerality and richness of its limestone slopes on which Chardonnay shines. From winemaker William Trouillet, there’s peach, pithy grapefruit and subtle vanilla pod, with just the right level of plushness to give balance and gentle complexity.
