This is a bold and generous wine made in an expressive and bold style. It has orchard fruit and citrus on the nose, with butter, vanilla and toffee apples. Later on, with a bit of aeration, some toasted almonds and tropical fruits show. A gentle giant on the palate, with a lovely balance of oak, fresh fruit and notes of development. This superbly made wine has a long, lingering finish.
