Devaux was once family-owned but is now a grower-led co-operative winery in the Côte des Bar, a sub-region more famous for its Pinot Noir but also home to some excellent Chardonnay. A very pretty floral nose, lifted by gentle bubbles, leads into a nuanced palate of citrus and stone fruits, with a gentle puff pastry undertow. Exclusive to Majestic, it’s a good option for oysters.
