Known for its Cabernet Franc reds, Chinon also has some beautiful historical Chenin terroirs that are increasingly being highlighted – such as this Croix Boissée from the Baudry family. The white tuffeau gives a remarkably acidulous lift, nourished by long ageing in barrels on lees.
