Abruzzo, in central Italy, is most famous for its great value reds from Montepulciano but the region also offers a wonderful white grape, Pecorino, and this is a good example at a compelling price. The nose offers an enticing freshness, with meadow flowers and lemon zest, while the textured palate is packed with juicy citrus. It’s just 11% alcohol, so a good one for guilt-free sipping and a lovely match for grilled goat’s cheese.
