Mark and Kate Watt have decades of experience in the spirits business, especially with famed independent bottlers. Based in remote Campbelltown, Scotland, they have uncovered small parcels of spirits and now bottle them under their Watt brand. This rum, a 2007 vintage, was distilled at Travellers Distillery in Belize. It was matured for eight years there, with a further five years of ageing in Scotland. The notes are of sweet chocolate, with toffee and flapjacks throughout, finishing with a hint of red cherry and a note of a well-made Old-Fashioned.
