Refill American Oak Hogsheads
Number Bottled: Limited Quantities
Nose: Delicately scented with aromas of cut grass, crisp green apples and crunchy pears. An underlying cereal character (Shreddies) keeps it grounded, as creamy milk chocolate, M&Ms and a touch of oaky vanilla add intrigue.
Palate: Incredibly creamy! Slow-cooked orchard fruits stirred through with crème fraîche, fresh vanilla pods and black pepper, sprinkled with milk chocolate shavings. Vibrant oak spices keep the tongue buzzing.
Finish: That creamy character keeps on giving as things gradually end with a slight rye, piney note.
Conclusion: Fruity, chocolatey and delightful. Interestingly the first Dufftown to have been matured in 100% American oak hogsheads.
