The frost was far less of a problem here, as with much of St Estèphe, so yields were relatively normal. A late harvest finished on 4 October and Cabernet Sauvignon, at 65%, has increased its shareholding within the blend. The nose recalls forest floors and blackberries, damsons too, with a little woodsmoke behind it; chewy St Estèphe tannins juxtapose pleasingly with the fruit, which is both elegant and ripe. A firm finish.
