The sixth creation of Blanc des Millénaires combines fruit from five celebrated Chardonnay villages of the Côte des Blancs. True to the sunny and warm 2006, the wine comes with golden hued colour already. Its nose is distinctly tropical with Charles Heidsieck’s hallmark alluring toastiness. Beautiful coffee tones alongside candied lemon, baked pineapple and complex floral tones. Soon after the initial feeling of richness on the palate, the wine’s minerality and generous acidity kick in. An instantly open and generous Blanc des Millénaires with more complexity to give over time.
